How would you scaffold in the following scenario:

diagram.png

The one storey extension has a single pitch roof that slopes away from the house. I'm building the two storey extension, so need access to build up the common wall (arrowed) to second storey height and then do the roof. How would I scaffold over the roof of the one-storey extension?

(This isn't something that's actually built yet, but I'd like to build the one-storey extension first, then the two-storey one, and am trying to plan the access)

Just tell the scaffolders how you want to build your extension, they may look like dirty apes but they're generally pretty smart.

My mind says build the common wall up to full height first and then go on to completing the extension.
