Hi there.
Some desperate help needed.
Two days ago we had a power cut. The alarm sounded when this came back on and we had to disable it using our code.
Since then, the outside alarm has been ringing constantly. Not at full volume, just faintly. It's quiet enough to ignore in the day but as it is just outside our bedroom window it's very annoying through the night.
The box inside looks like there is nothing wrong. No tamper light, and we can set the alarm too. I've not set it and let it go off yet as im worried something might go wrong. But you can set it and disable it before it arms itself.
Surely this thing should be constantly making a faint noise for the second night.
Have considered calling someone out in South manchester but a little worried about the fee they'll charge.
Any help would be great

Well for a start it probably needs a new back up battery in the panel , it may have damaged your control panel either power down the system or get someone out to it ! Does it feel warm or hot at the bottom of the panel ?

Every time I get called to one of these that plays up after a power cut.

Battery and fuse gone every time minimum, but you never know until you check.

Shop around there are a few that cover the area that do no fix no fee and reasonable rates.

Can you actually arm it or just start the arming process?

Letting problems run for days on end is not good for the systems health or what your advertising to the crims in your locale.
