Can anyone recommend a good screen cleaner and a good screenwash, We jad the car cleaned last week and the screen has still got some of that waxy residue type of thing on it...............

Meths / white spirit...but keep it off the rubber

autoglym fast glass is a good product and some screenwash from somewhere like halfords will do the job

Try vinegar or you can buy Wonderwipes. They are expensive but brilliant and take all sorts off anything, but be a little careful

Rain X double pack, cleaner and rain repellent, works an absolute treat.

check that your windscreen wipers are not worn out. Old ones tend to leave the glass smudged and smeared.

I use liberal amounts of white spirit inside and out and it really gets rid of all the grime, it shows up all my stone chips too. Wipe on, let it dry in then polish it off, gives a mirror shine. Then i use tesco eco screen wash, the clear screen wash with no additives. It does not smear like halfords stuff or the nasty blue screenwash stuff you can get. I wipe the wiper blades with a bit of white aspirit too, it gets loads of muck off of them.
