Hi,
Currently constructing a fence in my garden. just a standard post and rail with vertical boards job. Post are sunk 600mm into the ground and bedded in concrete, Timber dimensions are:
Rail: 38mm x 87mm x 3600mm
Board: 19mm x 150mm x 1800mm
My initial thoughts were 80 or 100mm galvanised wire nails to fix the rails and 50mm for the boards.
I'm now thinking screws so i don't loosen any posts by hammering in nails, I guess i would use decking screws?
Also, how good are the "outdoor green" type of screws I've seen on screwfix, I assume it's some other process instead of galvanising?
Cheers,
