I returned to my home after my builder had fitted a new window and noticed the sealed unit had a sticker on the inside saying "must face outside".
Admittedly, the sticker was peeled off and stuck on again so might have originally been on the outside face, but it has me wondering, would it be a problem if it is wrong way round. Some fishing around the web suggests only a problem if the outside face was something special, eg self-cleaning glass, but it isn't. Label said 4mm planitherm tough, argon, 4mm toughened float.
Any opinions?

Nothing to worry about, It wouldn't fail any inspections this way.

I tend to fit obscure glass the wrong way round for several reasons:
It looks better
Rough glass collects more dirt so the outside would need cleaning more
The smooth side gives a better seal on the outsides
