Seeds out of date.

l have planted some packets of seeds l had in the shed that had 04 and 06 on the year. Some are flower seeds and some was for spring onion and tomato, this was done about 3 weeks ago and nothing has happene. Do seeds have a use by sell by date and are seeds no good after this period. :confused: :p

Germination rates fall rapidly after expiry date.

Always try and use in date seeds IMO...
 
keeping opened seed packets in a humid shed that gets hot in the sun will shorten their life.

If you keep seeds in a fridge, they will last much longer.
