Self Closing Tap problem

We have a self closing tap in our bathroom. You push it and it closes itself after a few seconds. I think they are common in public places like restaurants and pubs more but we have 1!

Anyway, the tap head has come off. There seems to be a spring, but when I push the head on, it comes off again. Is there anything I can do to fix this please?

Replace the taps.

Self close are, as you say, used in public places. This is to conserve water usage/wastage.

Must be a pain when filling basin for a wet shave
