Hi
I have just bought a Citroen c4 Picasso 2007
Havent got any books with it. It was serviced after 17,000 miles
It has now covered 27000
Can anyone tell me the service intervals, It is a Diesel Automatic 1.6 HDI Exclusive
Many Thanks

Citroen says:
Normal service every 12500 miles / 2 years
Severe use (Taxi) 10000 miles / 1 year
Timing belt 150000 miles / 10 years
Diesel fuel filter / air filter 37500 miles

All seems a bit vague, doesn't it?
The big thing is the lubrication service - 10000 miles max for me (with filter) and I wouldn't leave the timing belt that long!
I'd also change the auto transmission fluid at 40000 miles.
I would have thought your car would have had the service interval indicator.

That's pretty much what my Berlingo is supposed to be. One anomaly I've found is that the service interval counter is calibrated in Km not miles. So you reset it to 10k after a service only to find the spanner pops up 6400 miles later. The other one is that mine seems to be permanently set to severe usage. OK I do a lot of miles but those are mainly sat on the motorway at 70mph.

I would say 10k or less for oil changes being a modern diesel engine, could save you a lot of trouble.

Peter
