servis easi logic 1300 washing machine problem

during a wash cycle today the machine simply stopped.
when i investigated, the door opened despite being half way through cycle.......water everywhere etc. cleaned out filter etc...
switched off machine for an hour before trying again...and although there is no prob. with electric supply, buttons lighting up as usual...the machine simply will not start any programme....AND the door still opens!
any advice please...only had it 2 years!

if there is supply the the machine but it wont start there could be 1 or 2 prob, 1st being the door lock its self is faulty, if the door lock dosent lock it simply wont start (after all you wouldnt want it to start with the door open) the other thought that comes to mind is that the control module its self is duff, which could be pricey

I was assuming the door lock is faulty.....is there anything that can be done?

You can meter it to check if it's working or get another door interlock and keep your fingers crossed that that's the fault.
