I wonder if anyone has any ideas i could try?
My Servis washing machine (6 years old) has never had a problem.
I put it on a hot wash just to clean it with soda crystals (there were a few random lumps of soda crystal as they had gone solid in the pack) set the plug timer to make it come on overnight, but this morning i found there was still a few lumps of SC and a pool of water at the bottom of the drum.
So i turned it back on, the lights clicked on as they normally do but instead of the normal noise the machine makes when it gets going with a gush of water, there was just a hum noise.
I tried it on every program but the same thing happened.
I then spun the drum round a few times, and turned it on and it worked....for 15 seconds, then back to the humming noise.
I'm waiting to hear back from an engineer. But I'm just wondering if anyone has any ideas i can try in the mean time?
Advice would be really appreciated
