We have lived here a year now, despite having a survey what a waste of money. We have found many problems here.
One annoying one is the neighbours garden has been built up our garage wall in their back garden. We have a waterfall in our garage making the garage on that side useless as it so wet.
Another problem again is their garage runs alongside our drive and the guttering on the garage has a downpipe on our side, which goes into a little drain in the middle of our drive. The drain has sunk and needs digging out and redoing who is liable for this??
I would be grateful if anyone knows what we should do about the above. Thanks.

the home buyers report is only to tell the building society the house is worth what they are lending
you need a full structural survey but even then it wont nesiserrily pick boundary issues

there should be no part off his structures overhanging your land
he must not discharge his rainwater onto your land
