I have a integral transformer type shaver socket which will be powered from a permanent live lighting circuit in a bathroom. The shaver socket is to go above the sink in zone 2 (less than 600mm above the sink). ok so far I think?
Now can I bring the permanent live LIGHTING cable to an isolating switch ( NOT fused, one input one output, off/on legend on switch cover) then run cable (hidden) from the switch to the shaver socket. The switch is to be placed almost at ceiling height, in a zone 3 area where it is out of sight and located above wall mounted cupboards?
