Shed/workshop wiring

Ive recently built a decent sized shed which is going to be used as a sort of work shop.

Im planning on having two strip lights in, 6-8 240v sockets (2 of will be 'industrial' type socket), I have a 240-110v transformer that will fix to the wall, which from that will supply 2 110v sockets, and also another 2 on the transformer itself.

May later add an alarm system to it.

Would you recommend it has its own consumer unit, rather than all of it running from the CU in the house off 1 RCBO?

external works are notifiable and must comply with regs
your choices are to inform building control before comencment paying there not unsubstancial fee coming to an agreement as to what they require installing up to and complying with regulations that you will have fully reserched
or involving your own part p spark to fully install or you do the donkey work to his instructions with his certification off the final installation
