Shock Arrestor - Repressurize

I have a shock arrestor fitted on the mains feed just beneth the boiler which needs repressurizing, is it just a case of turning off the stop tap, turning on the taps to drain the water and then pumping up the device

Basically yes, off with the cold mains, open the cold to depressurise and leave it open, then pump up to pre-set charge. it should be marked with the pre-charge pressure.

Ideally the air side pressure should be chosen taking into account the average mains pressure.
