Short shoe laces

I hate long shoe laces, and having measured, it seems that 500mm is perfect for a single bow. But, as far as I can see, they are not obtainable.
I have mainly Barker shoes, and even those come with long laces. I bought a pair if shoes in italy on a a cheap groupon Rugby weekend. the shoes cost a lot more than the trip! But the two pairs of supplied laces are way too long, I cut one lace in half, and is a tad too short, but manage able. But I hate not having the Aglet/ferrule.

So, does anyone know where one can buy 500 - 550 mm shoe laces (Brown and black) ?

The shortest popular length I could see (without spending much effort) was 24" or 60cm.

Whoops. I was going to ask whether you had a pair of those Roman gladiator sandals that had laces that went halfway up your leg!

I hate long shoe laces,

I'm not keen.
My work boot laces end up going once around the neck of the boot before tying.

Sometimes I cut the laces to required length and then create a ferrule using heat shrink sleeving
