Should I update my system? To What?

Not sure what you mean? You default, then boot. You then need to enter the master code 12345 'ent'. What happens after that?

It doesn't actually 'default'. It says "configuring system" then "alarm in progress". I try entering 12345 ent, but it doesn't show anything on the keypad. Just a few stars * and then goes back to "alarm in progress".

Try that on reboot power up

Hallelujah! A step closer.

I realised that the buttons weren't pressing properly so took the keypad apart and wiped out down with alcohol. Seems to have done something too the contacts.

When I tried 12345ent it came up with INVALID CODE

I then tried 112233ent and it displayed: NO ACCESS - ADDITIONAL CODE

I then tried 1234ent and it said: 5 ALARMS [<] [>] TO VIEW

It then goes to TELECOM FAILURE

I then pressed 112233ent and comes up with 10=SETTING.

I'm presuming that this is where I can reprogram the whole panel?

Thanks a lot for all the help so far!! Finally getting somewhere!

You need to turn off the telephone line monitor
Option 56
Then option 10 line volts turn off
That should now stop the telecom fault

Thanks. That worked. It now says Engineer Mode.

112233 takes me to settings
I'm going to 20 = Display Zones ent
It then says 1001 Final Closed.
As I go through they are all closed.

The PIRs are connected and on. The red lights come on when I walk past them. I feel like I'm missing something obvious. Going to re-read the steps in the engineer manual.

Option 52 program zone
01 final is your entry zone front door
03 intruder alarm zone ie,lounge, dine Tec
Zones not used make spare
Hallway entry route
