I am moving into a new flat. I have stripped the walls in all the rooms and there are uneven bits where the plaster has previously been repaired and various cracks and holes left.
Skimming all the walls is out of the question due to cost.
Should I repair this as best I can and then line before painting? Do I need to do anything else to the walls before lining? One of the walls is a bathroom and I don't want the paper coming away as soon as there is any sign of steam.
Any tips on which lining paper to use and putting it up. I obviously want to avoid the 'painted over the wallpaper' look.
Cheers
