Shower Head Fitting

Hi All

Yet another question from me....

Ordered a shower fitting which arrived yesterday. I can't see how this would fix to the wall? It's a regular 1/2" tap fitting on the end but the collar (which still has the protective blue wrapper on it in the picture) doesn't act as a stop against the wall for the chrome pipe so if I fitted this to the wall it would get pulled right the way through - do you see what I mean?

Any ideas how this would fix to the wall?

you secure (one of the above) below finished surface of wall and screw your bit in with ptfe tape rapped round the thread

Ah now that makes sense! Will pop out and try get one of those... thanks very much for your help.
