Shower & Hot Water

My shower is currently tripping out when I turn the water to hot. It runs normally when it is set at cold.

Anyone help me.

Is it a electric shower? Need more information.

It an electric shower Triton 8500i.

Sound like heater unit inside burnt out and split. New electric shower. Or replace heater unit.

shower should tripping for both cold and hot water when you turn it on,why only for hot water.

because on this type of shower, power is only supplied to the electric heating element when it is set to "hot"

why should it trip for cold ?
heating elements not on when set to cold.
