I want to plumb in a shower to my combi boiler. Screwfix seem to be offering 2 types of showers:
1) Modern combi pressure balancing shower- which uses pressure balancing technology to mix the cold and hot water ( hot will be 15mm from the boiler, cold 15mm rising main. This type of shower automatically compensates for variation in supply pressure.
2) A thermostatic shower that is compatible with all plumbing systems ( i.e. combi ) which automatically maintains the selected temperature to within +/- 1 degree centigrade.
Can anyone tell me what shower is the best for a combi boiler? Is pressure balancing more important than maintaining temperatue?
thanks in adavance
