Shower Light

Hi, I'm thinking of getting a shower light / fan above the shower and saw this at screwfix - I presume it is suitable but dont know that much about the IP rating which is IP24, can this be used directly above the shower in a cubicle

Yes, the light is SELV and IP24 rated so is suitable for use in Zone 2.
The fan and the transformer are not IP24 rated but they go up above the ceiling so it doesn't matter.
This will be notifiable under part p of the building regs too.

Be careful with that kit, I bought one and the fan don't half make a racket after a few months of use!! Buy the dearer one.
