I have a slow drip coming from the shower head. I have started striping down the mixer valve and have stopped because I am unclear what to do next. Do I remove the pin and try to unscrew the capstan or is there another way to get at the washer/ o ring?

Could I please have some comments on this query because I have dismantled the shower mixer whilst waiting for a reply.

It'll need a new cartridge rather than a washer I expect. Put it back together so that it looks the same as it did before you started, and send a pic to showerdoc.com, who will identify it for you and be able to advise what parts you might need
