Shower panel installation

was going to shower panel over the old tiles but where the bath was there was mismatch in levels so I pulled them off.

What everyone’s thoughts off installing over this?

a couple of holes but other wise pretty sound dabbed on solid external wall. I realise it’s not aquapanel or even green board but panels are pretty good these days so not much place for leakage.

Shower panel totally waterproof compared with tiles ( which allow water thru joints )as long as joints sealed correctly .

Yep got that, just wondering if the wall was sound enough?
