The dial on my shower that controls the power (and is used to turn it on or off) is just spinning when i turn it. It is the kind that to turn it on and increase the power you turn it away from you.
I found a screw that that attaches the dial to the valve but even when fully tight the dial just turns.
I had a look at the threads on the inside of the dial and they look relatively worn so was wondering if it is just wear and tear.
(if so, is it possible to buy just a dial from a diy shop?).
Apologies for the lack of info - am a total novice. If anyone can shed any light on this it'd be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
