shower pump 'run on'

Hi everyone

I have a pump which runs two seperate showers which recently has taken to running on when the shower/s are turned off. We normally turn it off at the switch incase it burns out or something. Does anyone have any ideas why the pump should suddenly start doing this and does it mean buying a new one??

Thanks very much

Could easily be a sticking flow switch.

Whether or not parts are available depends on the pump brand and model - what is it?

Hi softus

Sorry for the delay, my pc went berserk and I ended up re-installing the whole lot.

The pump is a MONSOON 3.0 BAR Twin
from Stuart turner Ltd.

Many thanks

Leak in system.

Read clamp out of position ( ensure read clamp is in the grove)

Faulty read switch or pcb (check in the control box for a closed circuit)

Jammed flow switch

visited Showerdoc who were helpful and have parts. What I need to know is will I need any special tools to make repairs?

Thanks v much
