Hi there,

I have just replaced a shower mixer valve, running on a twin positive pump, with a new Bath mixer tap system. (telephone style)

Since doing this, whenever the hot water is turned on, the pump works but wont switch off, however the cold tap starts and stops the pump perfectly.

Any ideas on why this happens? Incorrect washer size?

Many thanks

Sounds like a faulty flow switch on the pump.

Thanks Softus

Ive also just found out that If i turn the cold water on, then the Hot it works, and if i turn the hot then the cold off the pump stops..... BUT if the cold is turned off before the hot then the pump stays running....!

Weird..

That's a monster! :D

Swap the flow switches over between hot and cold inlets, and see if the problem switches from the hot to the cold.
