Pump on the hot only, pressure reducing valve on the cold to match the pressure.

Do you have space for a cold storage tank near the pump (even small is better then nothing) and use that as a buffer for the mains. It will get you spare capacity in case of water cut (or pressure drop) and will also act as a pressure reducer as mentioned above. You can then pump both hot and cold if that is what you want to do.

It will need to be at least a cuple of feet above the pump to give enough head. Idealy the same head as the hot has.

I fitted a shower a few years ago that used mains cold and lp hot. I think it used a venturie to draw the hot through and gave a good presure without a pump. I think it was made by newteam and looked a bit like a shower tower. regards Jonathan ps don't forget the double check valve.

An alternative is to fit a venturi shower. These use the pressure/flow from the mains cold supply to boost the flowrate of the hot supply. Decent make would be a Trevi boost.

thanks for that, but they very costly, I think pressure reduce valve and a pump would be a good idea.
