My grandparents have a WB Greenstar 25Si or 30Si (not sure at the moment, that's from the instructions they have!).

They want a thermostatic shower fitted and have been looking at the Triton Luca Thermostatic Mixer Shower.

Ive been looking at the instructions and it states that

- with a combi it may be necessary to install flow regulation
- check the appliance is capable of delivering hot water at a min. switch on flow rate of 3 litres / minute.
- at flow rates of 3 and 8 litres / minute the appliance must be capable of raising the water temp to 52 celsius.
-water temp at inlet must remain relatively constant when flow rate adjustments are made.

So, simply does the combi above meet those requirements? or is experimentation with measuring jugs and thermometers required?

The other shower they have looked at is the Grohe 1000EV but it is over double the price.

Thanks in advance :)

well, to put it plainly "a combie usually provides enough hot water for your needs"...

however I have no idea how much hot water your particular combie produces.

filling a few jugs of hot water is not a difficult task... even if you check the temperature at the same time :)
