Hi,
I'm in the process of getting my bathroom redone. It's been a long, drawn out process and today they sent along a plumber to change the ceiling socket that the shower pull cord is attached to: I don't know the correct term, but you pull the cord to switch on the power to the shower.
A friend has told me that this job should have been done by a qualified electrician and I should get a certificate for the work.
Is this right? Or is this a simple enough job that it should be ok? I'm clueless about these things so am a bit nervous about this, electricity being involved.
TIA.
