shower tray slow to drain

hi ..
i'm new to the site but i would like some advice.i recently installed a new shower tray and shower unit .tiled all around and everything is fine except the shower tray fills with water very quickly.there is no back fall on any of the waste pipes so i am wondering if it could be the trap (it came with the shower tray)itself and can i get one with a better flow.the waste pipe is 1 1/2" so i can't see what the problem is.any advice would be great ..thanx

Normally due to a build up of hairs an stuff in the trap. Get yourself a good old fashioned plunger and plunge it away. Did mine last week and it drains like mad now.

Going to state obvious as it`s new hairs are unlikely but you didn`t by any chance put grout and tile adhesive down the waste
