shower waste?

hi all,

just a quickie,

new shower tray put in, the waste is one of those shallow bottle type thingy's.

what i'm wondering is as i'm going to connect it to the stench pipe outside will i have to do a sort of ubend (outside) so as not to get a smell off stench pipe coming back into shower area

dont think so..most shower wastes that connect to the tray are a trap anyway.

As u say bottle i asume it will be a trap

Thats correct, the shower waste contains a water trap which will stop smells
