I want to install a 9.5KW shower in replacement for a 7.5KW. Is this possible or do i need more electrical work? Cheers.

depends on what size cable you have now.
i would probably say the cable would need upgrading if it's an old install.

it depends on numerous, things, size of cable, length of cable, method of installation, voltage of supply, capacity of consumer unit amongst other things.
this needs to be moved to the electricians forum to be honest

you know that you're going to get the "guy staring into a crystal ball" picture from someone for a question like that..

we need to know / see what size cable you have installed, where it runs, if it's through any insulation ( such as in the loft or in a stud wall ), the distance from the CU and the breaker size in the CU.. also whether it is RCD protected..
