Silicon in gap between tile and shower tray

Do i have to grout the gap between my bottom tile and the shower tray then silicon? using dow corning
Or just silicon it straight off
Also will it be the same application for the internal corners?

bod - grout ain't waterproof and it sets rigid. There will be some movement at some time at the tray/wall interface (eg. slight deflection of wooden floor below tray maybe) so attempting to seal this with a 'rigid' product is asking for trouble. Grout could develop crack lines and so leak. Avoid this by using sanitary silicone; don't forget to seal the vertical corner of the walls at the back of the shower enclosure, from top to bottom - don't rely on grout for the same reasons.
 
Thanks for the advice .i thought it was the case but wanted to check so as not to do something wrong
