Its the one that goes out of the wall behind the boiler. Check this pipe on the outside to see if it is / has been dripping.
Monitor the pressure as you use it. If it goes over 3 bar it will blow out of the PRV. This generally indicates a pressure vessel problem If the PRV leaks while the pressure is below the 3 bar level then the problem is the PRV.
On a 13 year old boiler of any manufacture it is no surprise to find a faulty pressure vessel, PRV or both
It looks like it is the pressure relief valve as it drips and when I tapped the valve it lost all pressure. Another tap and refill and back to a very slow drip.
Any ideas where I can get the part in the UK.
Is it worth changing pressure vessel at same time just to be on the safe side.
