I have a Sime Planet Super 4 F.S. I have changed the fan and the Pressure switch, however the boiler will run for anything between 30 mins and 4 hours, the fan will shut down resulting in the boiler shutting down.
Red Light over no.45 begins flashing indication fan fault, if your turn off and remove power supply it will after anything between two and ten times of attempting, restart.
At which point the water side of the system takes priority and the temperature lights rapidly go up to Max even though the water is only warm coming out of the tap (Until tank is fully heated).
If you then turn down the water temp knob to allow heating to kick in, the fan stops and the boiler shuts down, if you then click the control knob to ignition the boiler will fire up (not always first time) and the heating will be operational for as mentioned above anything between 30 mins and 4 hours.
The system will not fire up if you put it on timed ?
Anyone have any ideas what to look at next ?
