please forgive my ignorance, ive run a few searches but am pretty lost.
i have an existing double socket spur in my kitchen which is standard with no switches, i would like to replace it with a double socket with switches, but i am confused as to the difference (i presume there must be some) between "single pole" and "double pole" sockets. I admit to having to visit a shed to get the socket as its the only place near work, but if someone clears up my confusion i promise never to go again
