Sink and Drainer not draining properly.

I've got a Sink and a drainer both draining into a clear drain outside. I've checked that water drains down the vertical pipe but with both connected water appears to back up and not drain correctly as if there is some form of vaccuum.

What is the correct setup for the wastes for a sink and centre drainer (previous garbage gobbler) ?

The sink is to the right and the drainer left. This looks back to front to me.

You say you have check the vertical pipe have you checked all the trap etc ?

As for the fitting of the 1 1/2 bowl waste thats the way it go's it won't
fit the other way round.

Yep all checked and all clear. Might do away with the U bend so I can get a better drop.
