i have to replace a bypass rad in a bathroom,i say its a bypass rad as there are no valves but am prepared to be corrected!the rad to be replaced is a double panel 900mm high by 800mm wide, could i replace with a smaller rad or has it been sized this way, seems very big for a room with just a bath and basin in,its an oil fired boiler, system only has 4 other rads on.

yes you probely could make it a smaller rad, but i would recommend a auto bypass fitted by the blr. just so that the temp diffs aren't massive.
