What size extractor fans would i need for a en-suite measuring 3Mx2.5Mx2.4M, and a bathroom measuring 3.6Mx3Mx2.4M?
Would 100mm timed extractor satisfy most domestic bathrooms/en-suites?
Hoe do i work it out?
Have not got the tables with me, but you need to know:
The number of air-changes/hour recommended for that room.
The size of your room in m³.
From this, you can work out if your chosen fan will extract the correct quantity the above two figure of air. Multiply together the above 2 figures to get the extract rate.
There you are. 15 l/s is "unlikely to provide adequate ventilation
but may in some circumstance meet the customers requirement for building regulations."
But, by the air change method, you need 9" fans for both.
