Skimming Tips

I've just plasterboarded & taped my conservatory wall & am now ready to have a go at skimming over the top.

I have never done this before so was just looking for any tips/hints/advice etc that may help! I have some spare board which I was gonna practice on first!

blimey ive just read through the whole of that thread and was somewhat entertained by the duel of rc and dare i say it? Joan Intie", lol ilmao just for the record i think all spreads suffer from the sticky trowel syndrome at some point, that post was 4 years ago you boys have been here ages
