hi all am putting 7 inch skirt in living room the problem i have got is the bay is perfectly round dont want to start putting bits of skirt round it just one lengh its about 10 foot in lengh
The only way ive made straight skirting go round corners without taking templates and making formers is to cut the back out of the skirting vertically(say the 7inches) with radial arm chop saw with the depth stop on. (a mechanical saw will have a thicker saw blade than hand but may be posible with a handsaw-I've never tried) And fill the top edge with 2 pack filler, sand down and paint(obviously can only really be done on painted skirting) and you'd have to experiment with how many cuts are required to acheive the radius required.
