I,m removing a shed that stood/stands on a concrete slab approx 5m x 5m.
Rather than break the slab up i was thinking of putting paving slabs on to make a patio area.
Are there any that can be laid on a bed of cement directly onto the slab?

Thinking of ideas what to use the area for rather than just return it to grass ( i have enough of that)

assuming the concrete is sound and you wont end up with a patio in the sky then you can have almost anything on top. Concrete is a great base for flags.

A bed of between 25-50mm of mortar and flag depth so your going to be about 80-100mm above the existing slab height.

Check out paving expert . com for laying guides, its a great site.
