Hi Everyone.
Noticed my boiler (heatslave 12/14) was getting a little smelly and making my whole kitchen smell of oil. Just taken the front off, and found a small leak in the fuel pump. Seems to be coming from the Cartridge filter and dripping down into the internal casing. The flow at the moment is about 1 drip per 5 mins.
The problem is my boiler engineer has gone on holiday and is not back till 11 May. Does anyone see any harm in leaving it until then, and just monitoring it to see if it gets any worse. I have tried to tighten the pump with a suitable allen key, but it was pretty tight on already.
I'd appreciate any help!
Thanks,
jmh
