We have had a new boiler fitted and the smoke from the flue now sets off our security light.

Ive looked at other places i could move the light to but as the flue is in the middle of the house and at downstairs ceiling height the smoke will still set if off whether i move the light to either end of the house.

Ive seen you can buy a plume management kit but as the wind direction changes i dont think this would help.

Are there any covers or anything you can buy to stop the smoke blowing in any direction??

Thanks

First of all it`s not smoke,it`s mainly water vapour.

Secondly I think a plume management kit is your only option, get your installer back,he should be able to advise you more thoroughly on your options.

You cannot put any kind of cover over the terminal.
