I have a very old concrete garage (with asbestos cement board roof) being removed next week, which will leave me with a very solid, large concrete base.

I am looking to put a patio in exactly the same area (its away from the house so the dpc is not an issue)

How would I lay paving slabs onto a concrete base?

I dont fancy digging it all up just to lay it down again

A full wet bed is the only suitbale method when on a concrete base. 5:1 grit sand-cement.
