Whats the regs for distance from and or above windows for a soil pipe vent?

generally you would finish the stack, having swan necked it round the soffit and gutter, about 600mm above the roof line.

The stack should terminate at least 900mm above any opening that the stack is less than 3m away.

it is 900mm, got me sums wrong

i some how managed to convert 3 feet into 600mm. doh!

..sorry to drag this one up seems relevant.

What if the soil stack is around the corner from a window < 3m away? Does the 3m still count? Or is it 3m from any window on the same elevation?

Fit an automatic air vent suitable for outside and you can take it as high or low as you like
