hi can anybody give me the angle needed for a wast pipe to join a soil pipe eg how many inches per meter

probably not a good idea to mix inches and metres, you,ll just get confused, as doitall said 2.5 degrees which I think equals a 1 in 40 fall or 25mm in every metre.
 
1 in 40........... but why bother?
Took out one last week that had a 12ft trap :eek:
Had worked ok for past 8 years

Have to agree with tamz..... 1in 40 is a rule of thumb for underground drains . BUT the soil branches , bends are set for 2.5 degree fall. eg. 87.5 degrees.

Thats the wrong way Nigle :rolleyes: try 92.5 deg
