Hi,
I have recently had solar panels installed and the electrician has run the DC cables, which have 400+VDC running in them, down the external wall in 20mm conduit.
They have drilled a hole in the back of the end box and run the cables through my cavity wall unprotected. They haven't used fire stop at either end where the cores pass through the wall. When the cables come into the house they have run the cables in mini trunking to the inverter
Shouldn't they have protected these two single cables in conduit <edit> when they come through the cavity
Any advice much appreciated
