I have 7 x 4P Edwardian doors with Bolection moulding that need replacing as part of a renovation project and have been looking primarily at LPD and XL Joinery. I am worried that they will need a lot of shaving and will not have enough veneer to cope.
The sizes are (mm):
1945 x 765
1955 x 762
1955 x 745
2065 x 765
1960 x 755
1970 x 765
1955 x 695
The manufacturers do not seem to include specs for the thickness of veneers, especially sides, top and bottom.
Any advice on how to proceed?
