SP or DP sockets?

No particular benefit to either, since DP switching is achieved by pulling the plug anyway!

If you have to choose, go for DP.
 
dp switching will make it easier to track down equipment that is causing rcd trips without the annoyance of unplugging everything (and the consequent accidental dropping of plugs behind cupboards etc) and/or stop trips caused by idiots who work on stuff after turning it off at the wall without unplugging it. It is also a slight safety improvement particularlly in the case that the neutral becomes inadvertantly live.

So i'd go for sockets with DP switches even though they aren't strictly required.
